EdgeTaper Platinum™ is a NiTi rotary system that uses the same technique as ProTaper® and ProTaper Gold®. This familiar sequence will ensure that switching to EdgeTaper Platinum™ or EdgeTaper™ will be seamless.

Advantages:

Unsurpassed flexibility - heat-treated FireWire™ NiTi allows bending up to 90°;
No bounce - FireWire™ NiTi does not bounce and thus preserves the apical anatomy;
Incredible strength - double the wear force of Protaper Gold® and six times more than ProTaper®;
Each size is tested using a custom system, with 500rpm at a 90° curved 3mm tip, placed in a test unit;
Available in sizes: F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, S1, S2, Assorted SX-F3.
Remark:

EdgeTaper Platinum™ are non-sterile and must be sterilized before use;
Do not use the EdgeTaper Platinum™ in a traditional handpiece;
The EdgeTaper Platinum™ can be used clockwise, but not in reciprocating mode.
